2015 Chardonnay - Impressive Chardonnay that saturates the palate with citrus juiciness, hints of stone fruit and delicate mineral elements. There is textural softness, with refined oak influence and an overall charm and elegance. Fresh, racy and opulent.
2016 Chardonnay - 100% Nannup Chardonnay was pressed straight to French oak of which 30% was new for fermentation. The yeasts indigenous to the vineyard were allowed to weave their magic and ‘voila’, we have a wine of great character that would sit comfortably alongside some of the finest Burgundy can offer. Crisp fresh pear, zesty citrus, spicy oak assault the senses, all you need is to imagine you are in the dusty barrel halls of Meursault.
2017 Chardonnay - Deliciously aromatic with scents of white peach, citrus blossom and nougat are woven with hints of toast and spice. Heady stone fruit flavours are layered with lime juice and creamy spices that are beautifully enhanced with quenching acidity and delicate texture. A classy Chardonnay to be enjoyed now or gracefully aged.
2015 Shiraz - A Shiraz of great complexity, this wine floods the palate with vanilla, spice and fresh plums with lashings of black cherry. Long gentle tannins provide excellent length to a balanced, full flavoured wine with a refined spicy finish.
2016 Shiraz - This full bodied Shiraz was produced from 100% Nannup fruit. The fruit was allowed to ferment naturally then macerate on skins for 21 days to extract all the natural colour and tannins possible. This has produced a wine with dark berry fruit and floral aromas with subtle spice and toasty oak characteristics.
2017 Shiraz - Aromas of black cherry, freshly ground coffee and star anise bounce from the glass. Taste the dark fruit, spice and coffee swirl around the palate delightfully and ease towards a finish with delicate acidity and balanced tannins. While drinking beautifully at release, time will see this wine evolve gracefully.
