From a 0.5ha block, hand-picked, sorted and post-fermentation remained on skins for 14 days. This has given body, depth and detail. Red and black fruit, brown spices and fine savoury tannins, 30% new oak all soaked up.
Aromas of black cherry, freshly ground coffee and star anise bounce from the glass. Taste the dark fruit, spice and coffee swirl around the palate delightfully and ease towards a finish with delicate acidity and balanced tannins. While drinking beautifully at release, time will see this wine evolve gracefully.
